POLICIES FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR

Hello Parents!

Thank you for choosing private voice or piano for your child this year!! The fall is a great time for a fresh start with lessons and I’m excited to have everyone back and adding in some new students!  Below you will find some friendly reminders about my policies to make it a great year!  I will do my best to send out reminders of weeks the studio is closed but I also recommend you putting the dates in your calendar just in case. 

Tuition:

There are 44 lessons this year and Tuition is divided equally throughout the year at $110/month per student (for 30 minute lessons). It is due the first of the month and there will be a late fee of $5 if it is sent after your students first lesson of the month. Tuition can be paid by cash, check or Venmo. 

Lesson Schedule:

Fall Lessons will begin Monday, September 12 and go through the first week of June.  Summer schedule is June 12-August 25

Important dates! 

The studio will be closed:

October 14-28 (I will be out of the country)

Thanksgiving (Thursday/Friday only)

Winter Break- 12/23-1/2)

Memorial Day (5/29)

July 4 (Tuesday) 

July 31-August 4

August 28-31

Recitals: tentatively Tuesday, December 20 and Tuesday, June 6

*I have adjusted some dates that we have been off in previous years to make up for being gone in October to make sure Monday students get all of their lessons in, so we WILL have lessons on presidents and Martin Luther King Jr. day. 

Makeup Policy:

Just a reminder that I have a very full load of students and offering makeup lessons is difficult.  Do everything you can to attend your scheduled lesson time.  I will try to offer one makeup lesson per semester but make ups are not guaranteed unless I have to cancel a lesson for some reason.
